ERNESTO'S DENTAL LAB
Ernesto Rivera was born in Jalisco, Mexico in 1963, moved to the United States when he was 7 years old, and now lives and works in Oceanside, California. He graduated in 1981 as a dental technician from Southern California College of Medical & Dental Careers in Anaheim. After working at a few small labs, he opened his own crown and bridge lab in 1988. He became a Certified Dental Technician in 1990 and continues to study and attend courses specializing in all stages of advanced reconstructions, implants and anterior esthetics.
Ernesto’s Dental Lab, Inc., located at 1642 Ord Way in Oceanside, California, specializes in providing comprehensive implant and anterior restorative cases and has built its reputation by implementing a systematic approach to ensure consistent, predictable results without compromise.

AREAS
ZIRCONIA
Used for posterior crowns and bridges. It has a relatively opaque appearance but very high in strength. Also can layer porcelain on a zirconia coping for better esthetics.
E.MAX
Used for single units - anterior and posterior crowns, veneers, inlays and onlays. Highly esthetic glass ceramic look. Can be full press or layered for even better esthetics.
CUSTOM ABUTMENTS
We design and cast in-house abutments or overseee with ATLANTIS abutments. High presision and quality everytime. Available for all major implant systems, both cement and screw retainerd restorations. Types offered: gold, titanium, gold plated titanium and zirconia.
DIAGNOSTIC WAX UP
Provides a visual aid for broken down or missing teeth. The patient and dentist can see what is realistically achievable and can help with placement of implants.
GOLD
Used for crowns, bridges, inlays, and onlays. Available in semi-precious and precious golds.
RESOURCES
PFM
Used for anterior and posterior crowns and bridges. Available in semi-precious and precious gold.
DOF SHARP™ 5X Milling Machine by IMILLING
The DOF SHARP™ 5X Milling Machine is our newest piece of equipment that allows us to mill Zirconia and Wax in-house. Paired along with a 3Shape scanner we are able to produce quickly.
